HDCU-2500 is a Half Rack size camera control base station for the 3G Double-Speed Multi Format HD system camera HDC-2000 Series which enables more creative capabilities from variety shows to DMC productions and more realistic rendering of sport events.The Sony HDCU-2500L is equipped with a range of built-in interfaces such as 3G-SDI/HD-SDI/SD-SDI outputs, 3G-SDI/HD-SDI/SD-SDI/analogue composite return inputs, and a down-converted analogue composite monitor output. In addition, a variety of output interfaces are offered via optional boards, which can be installed in one free slot on the HDCU-2500. Furthermore, a built-in LAN interface (10BASE-T/100BASE-TX) allows the camera to be controlled over a network. Menu buttons and indicators that show the status of optical transmission on the front panel provide great operability.The optical fibre transmission system used with the Sony HDCU-2500L maintains the cameras high picture quality across cable runs of up to 2,000 metres.
