The 3480SLKE encoder platform has the flexibility to house both HD and SD SDI inputs, as well as H.264 and MPEG-2 video codecs. The streaming IP output can be configured for either a unicast or multicast delivery that can be decoded by a wide variety of hardware, software, set top boxes and consumer style decoders. Channel configurations include encoding of up to 8 HD or 16 SD signals (720p, 1080i, 525i or 625i in either H.264, MPEG-2 or a mix).
