SVG-Summit-2015-Scott-Nardelli2

December 29, 2015 - Burbank, CA - Bexel Global Broadcast Solutions once again played a key role in the production of the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame and SVG Summit this week, providing an array of services and technologies to the prestigious event. The highly anticipated ceremony honored eight sports broadcasting industry legends at the New York Hilton Hotel in Manhattan.

“Bexel’s technology and personnel were an important reason why this year’s Hall of Fame ceremony was such a hit,” says Ken Kerschbaumer, Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame ceremony, executive producer. “The ceremony has a large number of video elements that need to be brought together for the show and Bexel and its production team ensured the ceremony went off flawlessly.”

Since it’s inception in 2007, Bexel Global has supported the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame with engineers, crew, equipment and technology to support the event’s production and infrastructure. This year, SVG will be live streaming the induction ceremony, so Bexel Global will essentially be supporting both shows at once. Bexel Global designs and engineers both the Hall of Fame event and the SVG Summit’s daytime technology panels at the New York Hilton, supplying a flypack, support gear and staff. The company also ingests content for both shows using EVS and Abekas Mira servers.

Gregory Bragg, vice president of global sales for Bexel Global, noted: “We are honored to once again play a part in the important Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame event and to support SVG’s Annual Summit. The Summit is a must-attend event for those of us in sports broadcasting, and the Hall of Fame honors the heart and soul of our industry. Over the course of the past decade, our involvement has grown exponentially, and we look forward to continuing to support SVG, the Summit and the Hall of Fame.”

Bexel Global works closely with other event sponsors, including Vitec Videocom’s own Autocue, which supplies presidential style, podium teleprompters.Read the article on SportsVideo.org. Watch the 2015 SVG Summit in it's entirety, here.[sc name="news-footer"]
